Russkaja at WUK

English versionIm Zuge ihrer "No One Is Illegal Tour" beehrte Russkaja auch das WUK in Wien.
Russkaja ist bekannt für Gute-Laune-Musik, mit teilweise durchaus ernsten Hintergründen, wie auch schon der Titel der Tour vermuten lässt. Bekannt durch ihre Crossovermischung aus Ska, Rock und russisch inspirierten Polkabeats, beeindrucken sie ebenso mit einer unkonventionellen Bandbesetzung und einem wohl zu den charakteristischsten Frontmans der österreichischen Musikszene, und bringen so jeden Konzertsaal zum Tanzen.
Das Konzert begann mit dramatischer Lichtstimmung. Im Halbdunkeln betraten die Musiker einzeln als Silhoutten die Bühne und eröffneten so eine heiße, mitreißende Performance.
Gute Vorarbeit geleistet hat Coffeeshock Company die diesen Konzertabend eröffneten und die zahlreichen Gäste im WUK in die richtige Stimmung brachten.



In the course of their "No One is Illegal Tour", Russkaja also visited the WUK in Vienna.
Russkaja is well known for their feel-good-music, with partly quite serious backgrounds, as the title of the tour itself indicates. Famous for their crossover-mixture of ska, rock and Russian inspired Polka-beats, they also impress with their unconventional line up and with probably one of the most charismatic frontmen of the Austrian music scene. That's how they make every concert hall dance.
The show started with a dramatic lightning show. Still in the dark, the musicians entered the stage one by one as silhouettes and that way began their hot, thrilling performance.
As the support band, Coffeeshock Company did a great job opening this concert evening and bringing the big audience at the WUK in the right mood.
