Madrugada at WUK
by Alex, in KonzerteMadrugada at WUK
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of their record "Industrial Silence" Madrugada united for a tour of the same name: "INDUSTRIAL SILENCE EUROPEAN TOUR 2019". At the completely sold out WUK, three of the four founding members of the Norwegian Indie-Rock band took the audience on a journey back to the year 1999.
When the Playbackmusic before the concert was turned off, it got deadly quiet at the WUK hall. As soon as the first sounds of the intro song "Vocal" were audible, the crowd freaked out. With his deep, monotonous, but vivid voice voice, the singer Sivert Høyem cast a spell over the audience. Overall, the band came forward impressively with an heavy, melancholic sound after their break for ten years, because of a stroke of fate. It was definitely a concert with potential to become one of the best of 2019, if not actually the best one.
