Sladek - Daydreamin' Album Release Show at Kramladen

Sladek presented their debut album Daydreamin' on the 30th of April and celebrated that event duly at Kramladen in Vienna.
First, FLUUR opened the night. With a stage setting that reminded of a photo studio, because of all the reflectors and the added lights, the Viennese trio perfectly entertained the large audience at Kramladen. Their light, playful sound around the voice of front woman Sabeth was supported by impelling drumbeats, as well as by modern synth- and guitar-sounds.
Unfortunately, due to a technical defect, Sladek entered the stage a little late, which didn't change the great atmosphere. After the first few songs it was already clear what a wide musical range the band was about to present. They played souly, jazzy pieces, as well as electronic ballads - the repertoire of the band is enormous - and for their performance of the night, they even got some support of rapper Klumzy Tung. The distinctive voice of frontman David, paired with fresh bass lines and drum grooves, motivated the crowd to dance. When Klumzy went off stage and performed eyeball to eyeball with the audience, the mood was at its peak, and that's how the wonderful release show came to an end.
